Bug Fixes

Fixed issues with import of Foreign Keys and the " ' " character in comments in the Migration Tool.
(scheduled) backup did encode as utf8 even if you deselected the option in the Wizard. Only the SET NAMES statement was omitted.
'copy to other ...' used excessive memory when copying big tables. This is now fixed.
The import dialogue displayed twice as many SQL-statements as there actually was.
The warning that more rows would be updated did not display with some special Schemas (schemas without a PK and extensive use of TEXT/BLOBs)
Conditional comments (like /*! ... */) raised an error with the import tool.
Fixed an issue with import of indexes from PostgreSQL.
When two tables named identically except for the LETTERCASE existed in a database 'copy to other ...' would always copy the 'most LOWERCASED' of them.
When UPDATING SQLyog does generally not include BOLBs?TEXTs in the WHERE clause that it sends. However it should when that column is used for a Primary Key. This is now fixed.
Migration will now map a TEXT type from SQL Server or MySQL to a TEXT and not VARCHAR
The display of the total time passed for the query as displayed in MESSAGES tab was wrong (information in status line was correct).
Several small bug fixes - most of them GUI-related.

What is SpeedFan

SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSB on some hardware (but this should be considered a bonus feature).

At the lowest level, SpeedFan is an hardware monitor software that can access temperature sensors, but its main feature is that it can control fan speeds (depending on the capabilities of your sensor chip and your hardware) according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise and power consumption. Several sensors, like Winbond's and the AS99127F support fan speed changing, as well as others from Maxim, Myson, Analog Devices, National Semiconductor and ITE, but the hardware manufacturer must have connected the relevant pins to some additional, yet trivial, circuitry. This means that if you have, say, a Winbond W83782D on a BP6 then you're ok, but not every motherboard with such an hardware monitor chip will be able to change fan speeds. From one of the very first hardware monitor chips that could be found in standard PCs, the National Semiconductor LM75 (and all of its clones, like the Philips NE1617 and the Philips NE1618 or the Maxim MAX1617) or the Analog Devices ADM1021, such chips have been greatly improved, both in their precision and in their capabilities. Current chips can monitor fan speeds, voltages and control fan speeds bu using PWMs (Pulse Width Modulation). Some chips can even be programmed to vary fan speeds without any additional software intervention. If your BIOS was programmed to setup such chips this way you can still try to use SpeedFan's Advanced Configuration to revert to manual (software controlled) mode. Winbond W83697HF, Analog Devices ADT7463, SMSC EMC6D102, ITE IT8712F, National LM85C and Maxim MAX6650 are very good candidates. Some SuperIO chips include temperature sensors too. SpeedFan can automatically detect them and use their features. The most used are National PC87366 and all of SMSC LPC SuperIO chips. SpeedFan can find almost any hardware monitor chip connected to the 2-wire SMBus (System Management Bus, a subset of the I2C BUS) Serial Interface and to the ISA BUS. SpeedFan works fine with Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, 2003 and Windows XP. SpeedFan can be minimized to the tray and is compatible with Motherboard Monitor 5.

How it does its job

SpeedFan monitors temperatures, through available hardware monitor chips which expose their temperature sensors connected to different places inside your computer, and, according to your setup, does its best to keep those temperatures at your desired value. You can even change a fan speed according to the temperature of your hard disk. When choosing parameters for the minimum and maximum fan speed, try to set them by hand (disable all the VARIATE FANs checkboxes) and listen to the noise. When you hear no noise from the fan then you can set that value as the minimum fan speed for that fan. I suggest to use 100 as the maximum value, unless you hear so much noise from it. In such a case, you might reduce the maximum speed to 95 or 90. Obviously, nothing says that you can't set 60 as your maximum value and, sometimes I myself set it that way. Consider that when the WARNING temperature is reached, the program sets the fan speed to 100, whichever maximum speed you set. One last word should be spent over the USE FAN x listbox. In my pc, when a fan runs faster, more than one temperature changes. You can say on which fan every temperature should rely. On my system, TEMP1 and TEMP3 are both influenced by FAN1.

- If FlashFXP was locked with a password and on transfer complete triggers it was unable to close properly.
- If the connection is lost during a delete operation and the user clicks yes to the reconnect prompt, after connecting
FlashFXP sometimes ended up in the wrong folder.
- Once the connection retry count was reached the "Go" and "stop after current transfer" buttons states weren"t updated properly.
- If you connect to a site and while that connection is still being attempted click "go" the connection attempt
isn"t properly reset prior to connecting to the site in the queue.
- Bookmark selection was disabled when working with the site in offline mode.
- There was a logic bug in the "FTP sort by (default)" option located in the Preference dialog. If you select sort
by "file extension" the option saves but when you re-open the Preference dialog the option becomes undefined
and errors when you click OK.
- Fixed bug with SOCKS5 that resulted in a delayed failure when the connection is rejected by the SOCKS5 proxy.
- When expanding folders if the user pressed disconnect or the connection was lost at a specific moment,
the folder was removed from the queue without being expanded.

New version of avast! antivirus kernel features outstanding detection abilities, together with high performance. Simple User Interface
Simple User Interface is used to start on-demand scanning, work with the results, change various options etc. Basic resident protection settings can be modified here. Enhanced User Interface
Unlike the Simple User Interface, the scanning is performed by so called "tasks". First, you define a task, including various parameters - areas to scan, what to scan, how to scan, etc. Having the task, you can (possibly repeatedly) run it. Resident protection
Resident protection, i.e. the real-time protection of the computer, is one of the most important parts of an antivirus program today. avast! features a powerful resident module that is able to detect the virus before it has any chance to infect your computer.
E-mail protection consists of two independent modules; first, there is a generic scanner working on the SMTP/POP3/IMAP4 protocol level. Virus Chest
The main properties of the Virus Chest are complete isolation from the rest of the operating system (no outside process, i.e. no virus either, may access the files inside) and the fact that the files inside the Chest may not be run (i.e. there is no danger in storing viruses there).

System integration
avast! antivirus features outstanding integration into your system. The scanning can be started directly from Windows Explorer, by clicking a folder or a file with your right mouse button and selecting the corresponding choice from the menu.
Another interesting feature is a special screen-saver that performs scanning for viruses during its run-time. avast! antivirus works together with your favorite screen-saver, so you don't have to change to anything you wouldn't like.
